Successful TEAMS Open Weekend

Following the success of National Mills Weekend, we had even more visitors to The East Anglian Mills Society Open Weekend and thanks to their donations added greatly to the restoration fund.

In total over 80 visitors came from locally and further afield. We heard plenty of stories from people associated with Northfield in the past and in particular had the pleasure of meeting one of the last descendants, Keith Watson, of the Howe family who worked the mill for several generations in the late 1800s to the mid 1900s.

Thanks again to our friends and family that helped support us during the weekend, bringing cakes for sale, guiding visitors and manning the refreshments stall! We hope to open again for National Mills Weekend next year.
